My Friend and I Lived It Up in Luton

The month is now March, which means that Spring is upon all of us. I know that winter was the same length this year as it is every year, but because it was especially cold, it seemed like it lasted for longer. While my dislike of winter is quite obvious, since it’s now over, it isn’t something we need to keep talking about. Instead of spending time talking about a season I don’t even like, let’s talk about how I am kicking off Spring.

When the start of last month rolled around, one of my friends was talking to me and asked if I thought it would be fun to go with him to Luton. Because the plans for the trip had already been made for the most part, my main responsibility was to accept the invitation. I couldn’t turn down such a great offer, so I said yes and started packing for my impromptu vacation. travelling can be a real pain sometimes, but fortunately this experience didn’t present any problems.

Once we arrived and un-boarded the plane, we went and picked up our Luton car rental. Booking things like your Luton car rental on-line is always a good idea, because it will save you time during your actual trip. Once we picked that up, we got to officially kick off our trip. Our trip to Luton lasted for four days, and I can’t emphasise how enjoyable it was.

This was the first time that my friend and I had been on a trip together, and I’m really happy that it went so well.

Our Family Trip to Luton Was a Lot of Fun

Family trips have a bad reputation. When most people think of a family trip, they think of being forced to sit in a cramped car with the rest of their siblings and parents. They then have to drive for what seems like an endless amount of time, and the destination that they end up reaching is not even enjoyable for them (although their parents act like it is the greatest experience ever).

The reason that I am saying that family trips don’t have to be un-enjoyable is because I took my family on a trip last month, and I am confident in saying that we all had a great time. Instead of driving to a cliche destination, we decided to fly to Luton. Once we got to Luton, we made share that we did a variety of different things that everyone would like. We also didn’t feel the need to stay together twenty-four hours a day, and took time to individually enjoy things that each of us liked. When we returned from our trip, I asked everyone for their honest opinion about the trip, and everyone in my family (including myself) agreed that we had a really fun time together.

Visiting an Old Friend in Luton

As I have gotten older, I like to think that I have gotten a little bit wiser over the years. I am by no means claiming to have the answers to everything (or much at all for that matter), but I do feel like I am able to see things more clearly now. One of the most valuable things that I have learnt is that when it comes to friendships, time is the best test of a whether or not a person is a true friend to you. If they aren’t, they will slowly (or in some cases, quickly) fade away over the course of time. However, if they are a real friend, there is no amount of time or distance that can separate you from that person. Regardless of how long you are separated, there is nothing can break the bond you have with a true friend.

A great example of this my friend who lives in Luton. I visited him last month, and although it had been over three years since we had seen each other, we had both done our part to stay in touch over the period of time. Additionally, when we did get together in Luton, we were able to pick right up where we had left off the last time we saw each other.
