Dunstable Downs

If you like great scenery, you should definitely check out Dunstable downs which are part of the Chiltern Hills, or simply known as “the Chilterns” by the locals. They are impressive chalk formations that make up the north-eastern reaches of the Chilterns. Make sure you check out the huge lion that was carved up by the Whipsnade Zoo in the formations. You can spot it from the B489 road connecting Aylesbury and Dunstable.

The Hat Factory

If you love theater and comedy, be sure to check out the Hat factory. Don’t be fooled by the name, the Hat factory as actually nothing to do with hats! The hat factory is one of Luton’s main entertainment venue featuring all kinds of events, such as live plays, gallery exhibitions and live music events, just to name a few. It also offers all kinds of classes ranging from Capoiera to Street dance lessons. A visit to the Hat factory is a great opportunity to check out some of this town’s young talents.

Wardown Park

You can’t visit Luton without stopping by Luton’s most important park, Wardown Park. Prepare to be amazed by the Daisy chain, one of Wardown Park’s most notable design features. The Daisy chain is the only part still remaining from the original gardens of Wardown House from which Wardown Park was created. There’s also a nice lake passing through the middle of the park spanned by a beautiful suspension bridge that will be sure to tug on your romantic strings.
